Axis Wake Research Pro Athlete, Bec Gange, celebrated two back-to-back wins this weekend! Wootown Wakefest in Worcester, Massachusetts took place July 13-15th where it kicked off with wakeboard and wakesurf competitions for riders of all ages and levels. This was Bec’s second year competing at this event where she came back to uphold her First Place Podium. “I had an awesome time teaching people for Freeride Friday and competing Saturday. I was last off the dock behind the Malibu Boats 22 MXZ for the Women’s. Landing a Tootsieroll and grabbed inverts secured me the top spot for the 2nd year in a row,” exclaimed Bec Gange.

Coming hot off her victory at Wootown, Bec headed to San Angelo, Texas for Family Powersports’ Wake The Desert. This event is the longest running wake event in Texas, so with 2,500 spectators and a big wakeboard and wakesurf competitive field, Bec was ready to show off what she’s made of. Towed behind Malibu Boats M235, Bec was able to throw down a 540, Tootsieroll, and some stylish inverts to land her the top spot on the podium.

“I got the pleasure to meet so many new people over the last two weekends and everyone did such a great job of hosting the events, including the Women’s Pro divisions,” stated Bec Gange. Axis Wake Research is so stocked to have such a champion on our team, and we can’t wait for more victories to come from Bec Gange!
